I am floored. Still blinking to be sure it's real. And HONORED! I certainly would not be here without you, my Sunday readers. Thank you for reading my words, for finding yourself in them, and reminding me everyday why I write.
PSST!!! Is there something you have been putting off doing on your own behalf for a while now? I mean, I certainly was. I have a supportive creative community and a thriving artistic practice. What more could I want? Well, for me, it turned out to be less about what I “wanted” (lacked?) and more about what I had, and had to give.
So if you have been holding yourself back (as I was) maybe it is time to recognize that holding yourself back, is holding out on the rest of us. Let this be your gentle nudge! What ever you dream or dare of sharing, it's time. Who knows what happy accident will be exactly what someone else needs?
